The Staticontrol AS15N is an internal emulsifier – antistatic additive approved for the treatment of food packaging. The Staticontrol AS15N is mainly intended for LDPE (mixture, LDPE, HDPE, PP).
Normal dosages for using LDPE films: 1 to 2%.
A rate of use at 2% of AS – 15 N favors antistatic treatment with an RS of 1010/11 ohms, a high speed (and longevity) of migration.
The side effects are of course more important. The Staticontrol AS15N is developed from a new low temperature manufacturing process avoiding thermal degradation of its components.
Precautions: do not preheat above 45 ° C (danger of caking).
Implementation: use with doser and / or mixer.

Application
The Staticontrol AS15N provides an immediate effect a few minutes to a few hours after extrusion (the Corona treatment accelerates migration), this lasting up to a few years depending on the dosage and in the absence of friction.
The normal utilization rate is 1 to 2% (RS 1010/11 ohms).
The presence of a slip agent promotes migration, a dosage of 1% is then sufficient (in particular for very thick layers).
