6000 Iontube

This model is an antistatic ionising tube designed to be integrated into pneumatic transport circuits so as to neutralize the static electricity produced during the process.

The generation of static electricity is a continuous process in transport circuits. The 6000 Iontube should be placed just before the problem area.

  • Static neutralisation is supplied by Ionising Bars mounted in enclosures around the circumference of the Iontube. The number of Bars is determined by the diameter and length of the Iontube.
  • The Bars are individually connected to a connector box mounted on the Iontube. So if one bar is damaged, only that bar needs to be replaced.
  • Standard 6000 Iontubes use 1m long Jacob stainless steel tubes. These are available in a wide range of standard sizes with coupling devices for easy incorporation into existing pipe work, see www.jacob-tubing.com.

5500 Ionised Air Knive

This model is a blade of ionized air assisted by a fan which is much more economical than a compressed air device. It is used for dusting molded parts, automobiles and a variety of sheets and fabrics.

It consists of one or more blades of ionized air connected to an external fan. This produces a large volume of air which leaves the air knives in a rapid laminar flow of the order of 110m / s. The operating cost is around 80% cheaper than similar compressed air systems.

Air Knive 5100

The 5100 is less compact but more efficient. In both cases, the ions are created by the ionizing bar 1250 and the compressed air blade carries them away for optimal cleaning.

Application

Ionized air is blown out at high speed by compressed air from the nozzle. The ions projected at high speed neutralize the static charge and expel the dust.

Specifications

  • The model 4300 is designed for use at or close to the discharge end of an air line. It is not a high pressure product and is not designed to be closed within a high pressure system. It should be on the discharge side of the control valve.
  • Easy to install with barbed fittings for 12mm airpipe supplied. Alternatively the female 1/4 BSP threads can be used for the customers airfittings. The airfittings must be plastic and as large as practical ionised air does not live long in small pipes.
  • It must be positioned as close as possible to the end of the pipe work to minimise recombination of ions.

4200 Ionised Air Nozzles

Model 4200 consists of a 1250 static elimination bar and one or more air nozzles.
The air from the nozzles transports, at high speed, the ionization produced by the 1250 bar for static neutralization and cleaning (dusting).

1250 AB Airboost eliminators

The 1250-AB Bar uses low pressure compressed air to extend the effective static neutralisation range up to 500mm.

Typical applications for the 1250-AB are stopping film sticking to rollers on packaging machines, keeping sensors clean and free of static, neutralising mouldings on conveyors and many others.

  • The 1250-AB has all the advantages of the 1250-S Bar with the assistance of an airflow which extends the neutralisation distance up to 500mm.
